The Deck and Planter was one of the impetus projects for the work into reclaimed materials and vegetation. This was a 3rd Year project with another studiomate. the pallets were recovered from the leftovers of a construction project and the plants were purchased from a local nursery. The pots for the plants and others recovered from the trash at the nursery were used as the underlayment of the planting beds and formed the “coke-bottle” pavers of the repeating module.
